I made a quick stop today at the Cranbrook Academy of Art. The building was designed by Eliel Saarinen. The Cranbrook campus, which includes boarding schools for middle and high school age boys and girls, is situated on a 175 beautifully landcscaped rolling acres in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. It being fall, the fountains are dry, but the beauty of the place still shines through. Here are some photos. (Click on an image to see it larger.)
